I was celebrating the upfront, immediate and honest response that HostDime made to the failure. As history as shown, that's not always been the case in similar situations with other companies.

Who was celebrating a system failure? Thanks for your reply, the backup system itself didn't fail, it was the batteries, which was stated in the statement that have been replaced and a separate bank is in order to setup on standby in parallel.
Issues happen to the best of us, to dwell on a misfortunate situation is not good business, how a company deals with the issues I think makes the biggest difference and how it makes them stand out above the rest.
I apologize if this impacted you, it isn't easy to come up front with the facts when it can hurt our own image.

Arnold,

Thanks for your reply, the backup system itself didn’t fail, it was the batteries, which was stated in the statement that have been replaced and a separate bank is in order to setup on standby in parallel.

Issues happen to the best of us, to dwell on a misfortunate situation is not good business, how a company deals with the issues I think makes the biggest difference and how it makes them stand out above the rest.

I apologize if this impacted you, it isn’t easy to come up front with the facts when it can hurt our own image.

By: Arnold

<guid

What have they structurally changed to ensure it wont happen again?
They could have had redundant backup UPS - $40k cheap at the price. Are they getting one now? Doesn't look like it.

Their backup system failed and you think that’s something to celebrate?

What have they structurally changed to ensure it wont happen again?<br
